Desmond Lo Vun Poh is a seasoned project management and engineering professional with over a decade of proven experience in infrastructure development, construction management, and regional business operations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Project Management from the University of South Australia and has built a career that blends technical insight with strategic leadership.

With strong competencies in project lifecycle management, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution, Desmond brings a structured, results-oriented approach to leading multidisciplinary project environments.

As the Managing Director and owner of Kuasa Era Sdn Bhd, Desmond leads the company’s strategic direction and oversees the performance of all staff. He is responsible for monitoring the operations of the entire team, including project managers and administrative personnel, ensuring that every project is delivered in line with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and contractual timelines.
While not directly involved in site-level execution, Desmond plays a key leadership role in business development, internal coordination, and high-level stakeholder engagement. He works closely with clients, consultants, and authorities to support decision-making, address overall project concerns, and uphold the company’s professional standards.
With a structured and results-oriented approach, Desmond continues to position Kuasa Era as a trusted name in project coordination and construction management.

Prior to this, Desmond served as the ASEAN Regional Business Director at BJ.ST International, where he managed corporate initiatives, project portfolios, and regional financial planning. His role involved cross-functional team leadership, business reporting, and service delivery across diverse markets.Earlier in his career, Desmond held engineering and management roles at Syarikat Pemborong Ratan Sdn Bhd, contributing to various public and private sector construction projects. His scope included site coordination, documentation, authority liaison, and schedule control for infrastructure and housing developments.
